Hall Road Rangers made it through to the last eight of the KoolSport NCEL League Cup with an extra-time win at home to Pontefract Collieries.
The Premier Division outfit were pushed all the way by their high-flying Division One visitors and needed a David Ingram strike in the 107th minute to go through 3-2.
Ponte had taken the lead midway through the first half courtesy of Carl Turner but it lasted barely a minute before Rangers were back level thanks to an Alex Romaniw own goal.
Jamie Barnwell put the hosts ahead on 50 minutes before a Craig Rouse equaliser soon after forced the further thirty minutes.
Rangers will now go to Long Eaton United in the Fourth Round.
Joining them in that round are Mickleover Sports who won comfortably 3-0 at home to Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
The Premier Division leaders broke the deadlock with a Karl Ashton penalty on 26 minutes and he doubled their lead two minutes later.
Dave Middleditch added the third just before half-time and the game was over as a contest.
Sports go to another Division One side, Askern Villa, in the last eight.
The Wilkinson Sword Trophy Semi-Final draw is complete as Staveley Miners Welfare beat hosts Barton Town Old Boys 2-1.
Craig Burdick's 35th-minute spot-kick had put the home side ahead but Danny Robinson struck with ten minutes remaining of normal time and Lee Gregory's penalty in the first period of extra-time saw the visitors through.
They face Bottesford Town at home for a place in the Final against either Pontefract Collieries or Rainworth Miners Welfare.
Premier Division bottom side Eccleshill United picked up their first home win of the season with a battling 3-2 win over Parkgate.
Lee Cornforth broke their duck with the winner three minutes from time after Marcus Edwards and Andy Howland had twice given them the lead only to be pegged back by goals from Daniel Payne.
Eccleshill stay in twentieth but the win will give them great confidence.
Grimsby Borough have moved up to fifteenth in Division One with a 3-0 win at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic with David Unsworth opening the scoring in the first half before Luke Mascall and Darren Hanslip made sure of the victory after the interval.
There were varying fortunes in the County Cups with the dream of an all-NCEL final in the Derbyshire Senior Cup disappearing.
Mickleover Sports lost 1-0 at Buxton whilst Shirebrook Town were denied by the same scoreline with an injury-time winner by hosts, Matlock Town.
But, Rainworth Miners Welfare and Arnold Town both won away from home in the Notts Senior Cup Third Round.
Richard Smith and Ian Streather scored for Welfare in a 2-1 victory at Ollerton Town whilst Arnold Town needed a Craig Mitchell penalty six minutes from time to win 3-2 at Wollaton.
And, in the Third Round of the West Riding County Cup, Armthorpe Welfare won at NCEL rivals, Yorkshire Amateur.
Gary Jones gave them a first-half lead before Daryl Brown grabbed an equaliser on the hour mark.
Bruno Holden got the winner for Armthorpe halfway through the second period of extra time.
And, Leeds Carnegie are through to the next round of the British University Championships, winning 5-4 on penalties after finishing 2-2 at home to huge rivals Leeds University in the First Round.
