It was an afternoon of big crowds and plenty of goals on Saturday with a full programme in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division and the maximum ten matches possible in Division One.

Over 600 spectators watched the games involving Division One leaders North Ferriby and highfliers Hallam whilst the Premier Division's biggest attendance saw 401 at Garforth Town's 4-1 victory at Penistone Church.

James Burgess gave the visiting Miners a nineteen minute lead that was doubled early in the second period by Joseph Colley before his second and a Hass Gorhi strike secured them the victory in the last quarter-of-an-hour with Brett Lovell pulling one back for the hosts.

Garforth stay third on an afternoon that saw all of the top three win whilst Penistone drop to thirteenth.

There were almost 400 at Barton Town's home game with Bottesford Town, 389 watching a single-goal victory for the hosting Swans, courtesy of a 61st minute deadlock-breaker from Benjamin Hinchliffe that moves them up to eighth, two places behind the Poachers who remain sixth.

Grimsby Borough maintain a six-point lead at the summit after Caine Winfarrah's early opener in a 1-0 win at Maltby Main with second-placed Eccleshill United beating visitors Sherwood Colliery 2-1.

A William Norcross own goal on four minutes was followed by a Talent Ndlovu penalty on the hour for the Eagles before Colliery halved the deficit through Charlie Taylor.

Handsworth move above Sherwood into fourth thanks to a point earned at next-to-bottom Hemsworth Miners Welfare, the home side battling to a 1-1 draw with Harry Viggars' late equaliser cancelling out Rikki Paylor's first half strike.

Ryan Thompson and Josh Walker netted towards the end of the opening period in Winterton Rangers' 2-0 win at AFC Mansfield that moves them up into seventh and Staveley Miners Welfare enjoyed a 4-0 victory at basement side Athersley Recreation.

Samuel Kay and Declan Howe gave the Trojans a two-goal lead by the interval with Tomas Poole then adding a third and Howe concluding the scoring in injury time with his second.

Two goals in the final three minutes saw Goole AFC snatch a 5-4 victory at Albion Sports, Liam Parker and Luke Williams turning the game on its head after it looked as though the home side would be taking away three much-needed points in their bid to move away from the bottom two.

Jack Normanton restored parity twice for Silsden AFC in a 2-2 home draw with Emley AFC, the visitors taking the lead through Callum Charlton and George Doyle whilst there was a goalless game between hosts Knaresborough Town and Thackley.

The top five were all victorious in Division One as the battle for the title and promotion places begins to take shape with North Ferriby keeping their three point advantage in pole position with a hard-fought 2-1 home win over Clipstone.

Levi Tarbotton's opener for the Villagers was cancelled out early in the second period by William Heather for the visitors but Jackson Jowett quickly restored the lead with what turned out to be the winner.

There was a hat-trick for Joshua Batty, two goals for Scott Phillips and one each for Alfie Usher and Jonathan Oglesby as second-placed Brigg Town thrashed hosts Parkgate 7-1 and goals in the final twenty minutes from Myron Gibbons keep Rossington Main in third after they came from behind to win 2-1 at Dronfield Town.

Hallam went behind to visitors Armthorpe Welfare but were level by the break before a Liam Royles penalty and a Kieran Watson goal secured them a 3-1 win that sees the Countrymen remaining in touching distance of the top in fourth spot.

Harrogate Railway Athletic enjoyed a 7-1 home win over FC Humber United with a Daniel Thirkell hat-trick and a Marcus Day brace added to by goals from Adam Shaw and Elliot Holmes.

Humber drop into the bottom two after Rainworth Miners Welfare's 2-1 defeat of hosts Worsbrough Bridge Athletic moved the Wrens out of the relegation zone, Morgan Boyle and Edward Watts with their goals.

Teversal now find themselves five points adrift at the foot of the table after Daniel Davison, Chris Murray, Liam Flanagan and Luke Balderson got on the scoresheet for Selby Town in their 4-0 victory over their visitors to the Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium in front of a crowd of 295.

A Sam Reed own goal set Hall Road Rangers on their way to a 2-0 win at Swallownest, Sam Robinson with their second midway through the second period.

Lewis Stephens, Jordan Chippendale and Dylan Drovi were the scorers in Glasshoughton Welfare's 3-1 home win over Shirebrook Town.

And, it was a point apiece at the FastFrame, as Oliver Grady's first half breakthrough for Ollerton Town was cancelled out early in the second period by Danny Edwards in a 1-1 draw with visitors Nostell Miners Welfare.
