Storer Steps Down After Five Years
19th August, 2008
Vice chairman Paul Storer has announced his resignation from Grimsby Borough after consultation with the Borough Committee.
Paul has been a member of the club from the inaugural meeting, initially as a committee member and press officer.
However, he went on to joint-manage the Reserve Team for season 2004/05 whilst also serving the club as website co-ordinator.
Unfortunately, after his father passed away in May of this year, Paul has found it increasingly difficult to commit the time and energy required by the club in his role.
Therefore, after discussions with chairman Sean Hall, Paul reluctantly announced his resignation.
Paul commented: "It has been an honour to work with such committed people on and off the field.
"The development of the club has been truly breathtaking, I hope to see the club go from strength to strength now they are in the NCEL and wish all at Borough the very best in the future."
