Scarborough Athletic has co-opted a new director to its board.

Natalie Davies, secretary of Scarborough Ladies FC who play in the North Riding Women's Football League, has joined the Scarborough Athletic board with immediate effect.

Her term will last for three years.

The club has made the appointment as part of the ongoing link-up with Scarborough Ladies FC, which includes the sponsorship of the Scarborough Ladies under 12s kit by SAFC for this season.

Boro chairman Simon Cope said: "Natalie is a very welcome addition to the board, and we look forward to working with her and Scarborough Ladies to expand our link-up over the coming years.

"The link-up, and Natalie's appointment is another crucial step in the continuing development of Scarborough Athletic as a community club."
