Winterton Rangers have agreed, at short notice, to host a friendly against Grimsby Town on Tuesday evening at West Street.

A club spokesperson said: "Alan Buckley rang requesting a game and we are delighted to help out. Its nice to know that we have made friends with most of our local league sides."

The game, that kicks off at 7.30pm, will be arranged as it would for Winterton's normal league games and the price will be the same, ?5 adult and ?3 concession.

The two sides last met in July where they drew 1-1 in a pre-season friendly.
