8th September, 2008
Shirebrook Town have unveiled Tony Maggs as their new manager.
He replaces Pete Shuttleworth who resigned last month after two heavy opening defeats in the KoolSport NCEL Premier Division season.
In a brief statement on the club's website, the Langwith Road outfit said: "The club has made excellent progress up the non-league pyramid over the last five years and it is felt that Tony is the man who will take it to the next level."
Meanwhile, Shuttleworth's Director Of Football, Mark Hall, who also stepped down, has joined UniBond League side Glapwell as Chief Scout and Recruitment Officer.
