Liversedge could be in a position to name their new manager as early as Tuesday.

The club have received six applications for the job after Steve Newton stepped down following Liversedge's final game of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division season.

The committee will sit down to discuss the applicants this week end before holding interviews on Tuesday - after which, they hope to be in a position to reveal their new manager.

Meanwhile, Liversedge officials understand that physio Katy Allan is to move on next season.

The club are wanting to hear from anyone interested in taking up the post.
