The Price Is Right For Eccleshill
20th October, 2008
Eccleshill United's new boss was in the dug-out watching the Plumpton Park's twelfth Premier Division defeat out of twelve on Saturday.
Ray Price saw them beaten 3-0 by visitors Hall Road Rangers and will now know the size of the task he will have in keeping Eccleshill in the top flight.
Club captain Stuart Waite had been holding the fort until a new manager was appointed and he assisted on Saturday.
Waite told the Telegraph & Argus: "Ray has been appointed until the end of the season and he was in the dugout for this game.
"Ray knows all about the club, after being manager three times before and general manager of the club for a spell, but he needed someone to give him an insight into the squad and who was doing what in terms of form."
